"Port Askaig" is a single malt from Islay named after the port town near the Carilla distillery on Islay. Bottling by Specialty Drinks, founded by brothers Skinder and Raj Singh, the distillery names for each range have not been announced. 100 Proof is a highly recommended Islay malt that is bottled in English High Proof and combines smoky, powerful and fruity flavors. The nose is wood-fired ham steak, briny waves crashing against the quay, lemon, orange and pine. The taste is strong peat smoke and exquisite sweetness of apple cinnamon, milk coffee, chocolate and licorice.
