The historic Glendronach Distillery, established in 1826. Glendronach means “Valley of Black Strawberries” in Gaelic, and is a whiskey cat that still walks around the distillery to this day. ... and the old-fashioned appearance still exists and produces excellent whiskey. All the barrels used are sherry casks, made from European oak aged dry Oloroso and super sweet Pedro Ximénez. A friendly taste that is described as an "introductory version of Highland malt" with a good balance of fruity and bitter.
