Peet's Beast is a rich, peaty single malt of unknown distillery. Made from malt with a phenol value of 35ppm, it is bottled through an antille filter to bring out the full-bodied flavor. This is finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) casks and bottled in cask strength. Aroma is smoke, peat, seaweed, syrupy sweetness and baked sugar. The palate is peat, dates, figs, a touch of clove and vanilla.
